Where do you come from?
I was born in a small town at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado called Longmont. I currently live in Los Angeles but miss the fresh air and beautiful mountains… What have you been doing before your porn career?
Before getting into porn I was dancing at a strip club in Denver – it’s a great way to pay for college. I was a Broadcast Journalism Major. I also worked in several video rental stores…and yes, they rented porn movies as well as normal ones.
Do you know Renee Pornero personally ? Is she really a fan of Chuck Norris ?
I do know Renee personally…although I have not had the pleasure of working with her one on one I have directed her in several of my movies including Ass Wreckage 2 and Taste Her Ass 2. As far as Chuck Norris…I am entirely unsure…if she is a fan of his I would worry about her a bit. I would think she would go for the more intelligent type not all the beef and braun.
How long have you been working in the X business?
As of right now (2008) I have been making adult movies for 14 years. I danced/toured on the road for 6 years, approximately 2 weeks a month. I don’t dance anymore but I do occasionally do personal appearances at stores/conventions. I have done over 400 movies so far and still love it.
What was it that made you want to work in this field?
I did it sort of out of curiosity actually. A magazine sent a scout to the club I was dancing at in Denver and I went to New York to shoot a photo layout. When I was there the photographer mentioned that he had some friends in the adult biz. After talking it over with my husband (I was married for 10 years) we decided “What the hell” and I went to Los Angeles on an adventure. I figured I would do one or two movies for fun…but really, the adult industry wouldn’t let me go home, they just kept booking me for more and more movies! Over 400 movies and 14 years later I am still here. I still occasionally perform, I direct, run my own website (www.kylieireland.com ) and just opened my new company SlutWerkz , which features women who are or have been adult performers directing hardcore gonzo sex scenes.
You did a parody of one of your movies with some socks. It was really funny; could you tell us more about that?
haha! The movie is called Upload and is directed by Eli Cross for SexZ Pictures. It was a big budget movie, an epic; we shot it over 20 days and it cost about $350,000. I was a Producer on the show and was the head of Art Direction with a crew of 3 people working with me to create the look of the movie. I was also the behind-the-scenes cameragirl and I performed in a very nasty Detective Noir style scene in the movie. After the movie wrapped we were all a bit tired and insane and the idea came to me that we should do a short sock-puppet version of the movie! So we did, with the help of a couple friends we designed sock puppets to resemble the characters in the movie and I produced and directed Laundry Load…the sock puppet version of Upload. It is hysterical and we had a great time making it…the sex scenes with the puppets are funny though…can you imagine a fisting with sock puppets?
You can see it on the Upload DVD in the Extras or you can find it on YouTube…it’s funnier and it makes more sense if you have seen Upload but it’s funny stuff just the same. It shows you what a whack-job I can be sometimes.
What can of advice could you give to a guy who would like to become an elephant?
I would say start with a lot of tanning and a nose job. A good plastic surgeon is a must. Do you prefer to be a performer or a director? Why?
I can’t really say which I prefer. I think it depends on my mood really. Performing is much easier and has the added bonus of orgasms, but directing much more satisfying mentally. Directing is more creatively challenging and much harder work for less money. But it is really great to take your fantasies and bring them to life on film.
Who is your favourite actress to work with? And which one would you like to work with some day?
It’s so hard to pick ONE favorite…I adore Sandra Romain though…that tiny waist and perfect ass and the things she says during sex…brilliant. I also love shooting/working with Adrianna Nicole, Annette Schwartz, Roxy DeVille, Katja Kassin…the list goes on. Actresses I want to work with include Tiffany Mynx, Debi Diamond, Belladonna and Eva Angelina.
Is there a big difference between what you do on-screen and what happens in real life?
Absolutely. I love having sex on camera, it turns me on knowing that I am making something that people will watch and get off to, alone or with someone else…that’s hot! However sex in my real life…well depending on my mood it can be way nastier than what you see in my scenes, or way more mellow. In real life it is much more personal and meaningful. The obvious difference between the two are the existence of the camera crew, lights, etc and the fact that you don’t have to be aware of where the camera is so that you can “cheat to the camera” so the action can be seen. And no pesky director telling you what to do.
Have you got a bike?
Define “Bike”. Motorcycle or bicycle? I do have the latter, although don’t get to ride it much in L.A.
How do you react when a fan recognizes you in the street?
I get recognized quite a bit…but overall the fans are more afraid of me than I need to be of them. Most are very nice and a bit shy; after all they have a much more intimate relationship with you in their minds than you do with them. It always amazes me that they feel compelled to tell you the most intimate details because you are a porn star…stuff they might never tell another human, but because of what I do they feel they can tell me anything sexually. When I get recognized I am always nice and polite…as long as they treat me the same way.
Have you got any fishing rod at home?
Nope. Haven’t caught a fish since I was five years old. I prefer my fish to be sushi.
What do you think of your comic character?
I think she is hot. I would definitely have sex with her. And I am jealous of her thick, luscious hair.
Apart from your own character, which one do you prefer and why?
Renee herself. She is hot and tough and gets a superhero costume. When do I get a comic strip with Renee?
Who is your favourite comic or cartoon character?
Overall? I love old Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner cartoons. I also enjoy Southpark, Family Guy and old Disney movies/cartoons.
Do you have any artistic talents, drawing, painting, music wise?
I enjoy photography and have a passion for old motel signs. I am also a very good writer when I am in the right frame of mind. I also enjoy cooking, interior design and have an outdoor urban garden (although it’s kind of dying).
What do you do if you don't shoot porn? What's your average day like?
Not shoot porn? Average day? What’s that? I work too much, every day…there is always something to do when you perform, direct, run your website and own your own company! I am constantly on the phone and answering email. 4-5 times a week I work out, 3 of those days with a trainer. I try to make myself do something fun at least once a week; dinner with a friend, a museum, a movie…it’s those little things that keep you from losing your mind.
Why did you agree to take part in the Pornerotoons adventure?
Are you kidding? How many people wish they could have their own cartoon character? Now I have my own comic book, an action figure in my likeness AND I am a living character on PorneroToons! It’s an honor… Too fucking cool!
What turns you on/off?
Turn ons: a sense of humor, spontaneity, good kissers, dirty talk, eye contact and thunderstorms.
Turn offs: Hairy backs, rude and/or arrogant people, egos, bad breath and men who leave the toilet seat up.
Do you yahoo?
Not much anymore. They are too stuffy about porn people and their Yahoo sites. But I can’t Yodel either.

Favorite car?
I drive an Audi S4 but my favorite was a 1957 Chevy Bel-Aire Convertible that my dad restored. Unfortunately I no longer own it.
